A merrier worldby *Larbesta

A whole phrase wold be as you know "If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world", parting words said to Bilbo by Thorin.
So, I wanted to draw Gandalf at first, then Bilbo appeared quite naturally, after that I remembered that dwarves revered smoking, while mirkwood elves were quite committed drinkers and the whole painting Gandalf got out of hand, an Unexpected Trip, one can say that, heh.

Ooow, I love this ! Really well done, the almost-black-and-white style is gorgous. I love how Thorin is looking at us with his usual majesty (Elrond is pretty badass too), while Radagast and Bofur seem completely stoned.
